Bindal Silk Mills Pvt Ltd is a textile processing company that specializes in precision dyeing and printing. The company was established in 1984 and has grown to have a production capacity of up to 300,000 meters per day, with more than 200 clients' materials being stocked for job work every day. They provide a wide range of dyed and printed fabrics, including polyester-based, cotton, and knitted qualities, as well as scarves, stoles, sarees, and dress materials, to meet the needs of various customer groups and applications.

Challenges :

The company is responsible for answering all clients' questions regarding their orders. However, this responsibility comes with several challenges, such as:

1. Keeping clients informed about the progress of their orders to increase their satisfaction

2. Provide organised lot-wise and programme-wise reports of clients inward orders, finished products, and balance sheets anytime the client requires.

To meet this challenge, the company started by identifying the key information that clients needed to know about the status of their orders. The report included information such as the order inward date, any changes in order inward time, the current production stage, the expected delivery date, and any delays or issues that might impact delivery time.

With more than 10,000 clients, we need to communicate regularly to keep our clients informed about the progress of their orders and provide organised reports of clients' inward orders, finished products, and balance sheets anytime clients required. I was looking for a way to make communication more convenient and accurate when I came across MobiOffice.

Solution :

MobiOffice was the solution that Bindal Silk Pvt Limited implemented to provide its clients with real-time updates on their orders. MobiOffice receives information from Bindal Silk Pvt limited such as amounts of lots received for processing, programs required to process in every lot, inspect the material and bifurcate materials that ready to process, how much material went for Jet, Stenter and batching stages, shortage or wastage happening in terms of materials. Based on this information, MobiOffice provides 4 reports to clients.

1. Lot Status Report :

This report provides clients with important information such as total taka in a particular lot, meter length of all taka, the current processing state of the lot, the cost center, and the weight of the lot.

2. Program Status Report :

By selecting a specific date, clients can obtain a program status report that includes the program number and the number of takas currently in each stage of processing.

3. Inward Report :

Clients can select a date range to view how many lots were received for processing during a particular time period and at which stage the materials are currently being processed.

4. Dispatch Report :

By selecting a date range, clients can obtain the dispatch challan number, date of dispatch particular program, design number, dispatch process, dispatch meter and dispatch remark.
